After WAY too long of a blogging hiatus, I’m back at it! I went on vacation for the 4th of July (blog post to come), and work has had me crazy busy ever since I got back. Thankfully this weekend I was able to get out and have some fun in the city. I went to a music industry networking event downtown and decided I’m going to take up ukulele as a new hobby. (You think I’m kidding, but I actually bought a little red ukulele and named it Pepper.) I also went to an outdoor movie showing of the Coal Miner’s Daughter, which was the perfect way to cap off the weekend.
It has been SO HOT in Nashville that when you walk out the door the sweat comes instantly. Cotton dresses with a LOT of flow are pretty much the only way to survive. I had popped into Kohl’s with some of my family, and I saw this lemon dress. I thought it was both functional and cute for the hot summer months.
